American vs. decimal odds
American odds, also called moneyline or US odds, show your profit on a $100 bet when positive, or the stake needed to win $100 when negative. Decimal odds show your total return per $1 staked, including your original stake.
At −110, a $110 bet wins $100 profit. That's 1.9091 in decimal odds.

How to convert decimal to American odds
Use one of two formulas depending on whether the decimal price is at least 2.00.
Decimal odds of 2.00 or higher
American = (decimal − 1) × 100
For 2.50: (2.50 − 1) × 100 = +150. A $100 winning bet returns $250 in total: $150 profit plus your $100 stake.
Decimal odds between 1.00 and 2.00
American = −100 ÷ (decimal − 1)
For 1.50: −100 ÷ (1.50 − 1) = −200. You risk $200 to win $100 profit.
−110 American odds convert to 1.909090… decimal odds, usually shown as 1.91. VigFox displays 1.9091 and an implied probability of 52.38%.
What are 2.50 decimal odds in American?
2.50 decimal odds equal +150 American odds. Both mean a $100 winning bet earns $150 profit, with a total return of $250.
Are moneyline odds the same as American odds?
American odds are often called moneyline or US odds. The format uses positive and negative numbers, such as +150 and −110. It can describe a moneyline bet, a spread, or a total; converting the price does not change the market.
What are even money odds?
Even money is 2.00 in decimal odds and +100 or −100 in American odds. A winning $100 bet earns $100 profit. This converter shows +100 when you enter 2.00.
Why does 1.91 convert to about −109.89 instead of −110?
1.91 is a rounded display of the decimal equivalent of −110. Converting that rounded number back gives −109.8901. For more precise results, use the unrounded price when available.
How is implied probability calculated?
Divide 100 by the decimal odds to get a percentage. At 2.50, 100 ÷ 2.50 = 40%. This is the win rate needed to break even at that price, before fees. It does not remove sportsbook margin or predict the actual chance of winning.
